Enter the Russian Federation a foreign student applies for a single-entry visa which is valid 90 days in the consulate of the Russian Federation.

To extend visa a foreign student should come to the International Office of the USUE not later than 1,5 months before the expiry date of visa to receive necessary information about the procedure of visa extension.

If you want to apply for University programs after Russian language courses, please bring documents with you:

1.      Previous education: completed course of secondary school

(the level that gives permission to enter university in a home country)

Original documents, confirming the previous education (e.g. school leaving certificate and transcript or equal counterpart). Please note, that the document must be legalizedand translated into Russian language. The translation must be certified / attested by notary.

2.      Legalisation of Diploma

In order to start studying at a Russian university, international applicants must prepare a set of documents that are required for enrolment. The first thing to do is certify your high school diploma. This can be done by a consulate of the Russian Federation in your country.

If documents are not prepared according the rule, the candidate will not be accepted to University and after Russian language course student must leave Russia.

Without an official confirmation of significance (level) received in foreign states of education, applicant can’t be enrolled in the University!

All foreign students should have a medical insurance. If you don’t have it, you should make it in the International Office of the USUE (room 418) or in an insurance company. PRICE of a medical insurance – 6000 rubles per year

 

How to legalise an education document in your home country

General (consular) legalisation

The documents are legalised by Russian consular offices abroad. A stamp and an official seal will be affixed to your document. This legalisation will be valid only within the Russian Federation.

Simplified legalisation (apostille)

If your country has joined the Hague Convention of 1961, you can have an apostille affixed to your document. In this case it will be considered valid in more than 100 participant countries of the Convention, including Russia.

A foreign student staying in the USUE’s dormitory provides to the International Office of the USUE (room 418, 354.) on the first day after arrival in Ekaterinburg following documents for registration:

  • passport,
  • visa,
  • migration card,
  • copies of plane / railway tickets.

All foreign students should have a medical insurance. If you don’t have it, you should make it in the International Office of the USUE (room 418) or in an insurance company.

PRICE of a medical insurance – 6000 rubles per year

Now you have the single-entry visa which is valid 90 days.

To extend your visa you have to bring to the International Department of the USUE:

  • photo 3x4,
  • certificate of HIV-test,
  • 1600 rubles,
  • copies of documents.

International Department will organize your visit to hospital. We inform you in advance when you should be ready to go to the hospital.

You have to bring with you:

  • passport,
  • registration,
  • migration card,
  • 800 rubles.
